Life Book 2014 week 26. Bonus: Sketching a Face with Kate Thompson

Yes I am going back and forth with my lessons .All I can say is "Wow".Kate makes it so easy . I did this while I was watching her, only 45 minutes .  I  like how she explained how to make the drawing more 3-D. I will keep practicing with different faces.

Done in  pencil and charcoal
She had us write positive messages around her head to ourselves

Life Book 2014 - Week 3 - Creativity & Play with Carla Sonheim

Until this lesson I really didn't know what or how to practice in drawing . I knew I just didn't always just to draw faces. I also am trying to draw more whimsical (not for everything ). She has 7 different steps to get our creative juices flowing .Well this is a good lesson that I will come back to . It makes me happy.  Here are some of the exercises I did.
1. close ours eyes and draw(Zebra) .2.Make a flower out of torn magazine page.3 Place tape down and make an animal. 4. cut up a book page and make a story.

May challenge word : Affection

I did this for the Community Thrive May challenge . As I was working on this Maya Angelou died. I thought it was fitting to use one of her quotes. God Bless You Maya just as you have blessed us .

Thank You Nancy Mc Peak a gift that keeps on giving.

The verse says "she liked this idea because she was beginning to think she understood what a soul was".
